At some point each one of us will come face to face with devastating results after a test.

For some it’s a doctor quietly explaining a blob on an x-ray; for others it’s a DNA test that didn’t say what it was supposed to.

For local man Phil Cross that day was last Tuesday, when a simple Facebook “What Friends Character Are You?!” quiz rocked his world to it’s very foundations.

“I’m devastated. There’s no other word for it” said a clearly shaken Phil.

“It was supposed to be a bit of fun, you know, nothing too serious. I guess I’d always pictured myself as a bit of a Ross; the smart one. Maybe Chandler because he is so sarcastic.”

“I don’t know if I’m a Joey, but hey, he’s a hit with the ladies, you know? I mean, you’d hope that you’d be one of the guys obviously, so to find out I was a girl was a shock. But to be a girl that isn’t Jennifer Aniston? No. No way.”

Still reeling from the news, Phil figured there must have been some sort of mistake, but after retaking the test, the results were the same.

“It was horrible. I didn’t know what to do. I was going to ask Dad for advice but in the end I decided I would never tell my family. Or friends. Hell, I wouldn’t have even told you if you hadn’t promised me it was off the record”.

How will Phil’s family react to the news that he’s Monica?
