A young woman has alleviated a chunk of guilt today, but finidng good reason for doing nothing with her day off yesterday.

Accruing a fair whack of time in lieu at her work, Jola Cameron took a day off work and planned to potentially get out of the house and do a little day trip somewhere.

Despite her best intentions, as mid-afternoon rolled around yesterday Cameron realised she hadn’t done much at all and began to feel remorseful for wasting her day off.

However, rather than letting herself get down in the dumps about the days events, the young Sales Rep cleverly justified the lazy day off by calling it ‘life admin.’

Cameron explained to The Advocate how two simple little words can have so much meaning.

“It’s a handy trick I like to use,” Cameron said.

“Rather than feeling guilty about doing fuck all on a day away from the desk, you just write it off as ‘life admin.'”

“It works great for conversations when you return from holidays, or days off, or on Mondays. You don’t need to make up some excuse for why you didn’t do anything. You just explain that you had a bit of a life admin day.”

Cameron told us that you don’t need to do much at all to be able to claim life admin status.

“I literally did a load of washing, filled out a form I was supposed to do like a month ago and paid a bill on the computer,” Cameron said.

“And that’s all it takes in order to have a guilt free day in your pyjamas.”
