In another blow for the struggling Brisbane Broncos, the club looks set to lose some more junior talent.

The former powerhouse of the NRL has reportedly been beaten to to the signature of promising young junior Reece Coates (4).

The popular and highly touted four year old is currently plying his trade around the Wynnum Manly Seagulls clubs, and had been seen as a future successor to the hooking roll – or that’s what his mum and dad told him anyway.

However, in a devastating blow for the power brokers at Red Hill, young Coates is set to head down south to join the Melbourne Storm outfit.

The news follows reports the Broncos have reportedly lost Origin winger Xavier Coates to the Melbourne Storm, after just seeing Reece Walsh, Tom Dearden, David Fifita, and Sam Walker say no to being a part of the Bronx Nation.

There are also reports star back Kotoni Staggs is considering leaving the club as well, which makes this latest loss all the harder to swallow.

The amount of money being offered to the early achiever about to start primary school is yet to be confirmed, but it’s believed to be in the vicinity of 5 bags of chips and 5 cans of full strength Coca Cola.

Broncos coach Kevin Walters was yet to be informed of the latest development before we contacted him for comment, and upon hearing the news he just let out a loud ‘Fuck,’ and put an office chair through the window.

More to come.
