Queensland Maroons debutante Corey Norman has taken little time to start feeling at home in the Origin set up this week.

After shadowing the team last game, and now getting called up for the all important Series decider, Norman has reportedly asked for a big favour from the Queensland Rugby League.

Set to play in the halves on Wednesday night, Norman has asked the powers at be if they could give him a sleeve on the jersey for a bit of a shout out for his clothing label.

Speaking exclusively with The Advocate inside the Queensland camp, Norman confirmed that he has asked the clothing guys if they can drop his and his mate’s YKTR logo on the right or left sleeve of the jersey for Wednesday night.

“Yeah, I asked Kevvy about it and he said he didn’t really care but that I had to get it signed off with the Coach Whisperer,” laughed Norman this morning.

“And then he said I had to go down to the merch people, and tried to charge me a thousand bucks for the advice.”

“Then the merch people told me they’d look into it so hopefully we get it on by kick off aye brah (sic).”

“I’ve offered to forgo my match payment and or inflict a dire medical condition that can be resolved just hours before kick-off upon myself too.”

“So I think it’s fair.”

“I got Isaac to mock it up for them and everything. So fingers crossed. “
