In some breaking news out of the state least interested in being part of Australia, NSW Origin Coach Brad Fittler has confirmed that he will be running with a controversial new old strategy for the rest of the series.

Speaking to The Advocate from Perth just moments ago, Freddy explained that he is hoping to give the NSW 2006-2017 Erratic and Irrational Selection Policy another go.

However, rather than losing series after series, Fittler told us that he is hoping the bold rehash of the strategy will have completely different results this time around.

“Yeah, despite years of failure because of religiously changing the team, bar a couple of protected players and playing players out of position, we think it could work this time around,” said an excited Fittler during an earthing session in Perth’s Kings Park.

“That’s why we’ve decided to drop one of the most explosive and game-breaking players in rugby league after one bad game, for a guy who doesn’t play in the centres.”

“And continue the merry-go-round in our playmaking positions just to keep Queensland on their toes like we did from 2006-2013,” Fittler laughed sipping his Kombucha.

He then explained that the seemingly irrational selection strategy is all part of his grand coaching plan.

“I’ve picked guys who are footballers, like it’s not 2019 and the positions aren’t super specific in offence and defence and all that matters is you are an athlete and you have ticker.”

“Besides, I’ve got some real spiritual exercises to get these guys to another level.”

“It’s pretty easy to defend at centre when your in another spiritual dimension.”
