In a shock for the nation’s cricket fans, Marcus Stoinis has been snubbed from Australia’s limited over’s teams once again.

The Big Bash Player of the Year and big-hitting Melbourne Stars opener has been left out of Australia’s T20 and One Day teams for the upcoming series over in South Africa, a move that has certainly raised eyebrows.

However, The Betoota Advocate can exclusively reveal allegations that the snubbing is a result of reverse lookism.

It has been alleged this morning that Stoinis the Adonis of Greek heritage from Perth has been snubbed from the team as a result of the Australian cricket selectors growing increasingly worried about their partner’s interest in the young heartthrob.

Speaking to The Advocate this morning a team insider explained that Stoinis has in fact been kept out of the team in an effort by the selectors to prevent their partners from asking whether they’ll bring that ‘good looking Greek fella’ over for dinner.

“It’s been a little bit of a sticking point how infatuated their partners are with the Stoin, and it’s come back to bite the limited over’s specialist, unfortunately,” explained the insider.

“He might need to get a shit haircut or stop doing so many beach weights if he wants to get his foot back in the door, just to tone it down a little bit you know.”

More to come.
