Tom, from season three of My Kitchen Rules, has made a triumphant return to the national discourse with an insightful tweet about US President Donald Trump.

The happy-go-luck Australian Capital Territorian shot to national fame during the making of the show for being a ‘villain’ who spoke freely and didn’t feel uncomfortable to share his true opinion on somebody’s dish.

He also enjoyed a level of fame for putting the show’s star judge Manu Feildel in a chokehold until the French national stopped breathing and passed out.

However, that was then.

This morning on popular social media platform, Twitter, the blue-tick verified Tom lashed out at Trump for being so bad.

It is unknown if Mr Trump has seen the tweet at the time of print but Tom’s outspoken opinions on the US President has been picked up by our nation’s media.

Close to seven of Tom’s 399 Twitter followers elected to ‘heart’ the tweet while two of them ‘retweeted’ it.

One of them being rugby league identity, Phil Gould.

The Advocate reached out to Gould about the retweet but only heard the theme to Speed 2 and heavy breathing when the phone was answered.

Never the less, Tom said he’s quite pleased to be back in the zeitgeist after a number of years in the fame wilderness.

“I just hate [Trump] so fucking much!” yelled Tom.

Our reporter spoke to him briefly via Skype this afternoon.

“When I made the tweet, I had no idea or expectation that it’d take off the way it did. I’m blown away by the national response to it!”

“It’s time to impeach Trump! Also, Paul Keating got a penthouse apartment in Barangaroo in return for his assurance he’d stop speaking out against the redevelopment of the Hungry Mile! Every politician deserves the guillotine!”

Our reporter then closed the laptop lid and went for lunch.

More to come.
