With the stadium loving state of NSW becoming the latest to allow 100% capacity at sporting venues, footy fans are rejoicing as loosened covid restrictions allow for punch-ons to take place in footy car parks again.
Once a common place in the pre-covid era, violent brawls amongst fans after football matches were growing in popularity due to gambling apps giving violent fans yet another thing to be upset about.
Unfortunately for lovers of violence, footy brawls were put on hold as the nation entered lockdown in March of 2020, as well as football and life in general.
But now football crowds are growing in full force much to the delight of failed players and those hoping to film a bloody brawl alike.
“I can’t wait!” stated one Cronulla fan who for legal reasons asked to remain anonymous.
“I haven’t looked forward to a fight this much in about…aw…16 years?”
“So keen, I might even punch another Sharks fan just to warm up!”
