It is well-known that people in Sydney, especially those who live near the sea, cannot be trusted to follow the rules.

In recent days, the nation has stood idly by while people in Bondi have shirked their responsibility to stay away from each other.

They’ve watched pubs in that city laugh at the new rules that dictate people need to be seated while drinking.

We need to start thinking about us.

About Queenslanders, Territorians, Small Territorians, People of the West, the Australians with no convict heritage that love cramming dead people into barrels and Tasmanians.

We might make up a smaller part of the population but for far too long, Sydney and Melbourne have let us all down.

So is it time to cattle-gun them all? To save us all from a deadly second wave of the coronavirus?

This masthead says yes.

But not everyone in Sydney, just those who’ve shown their disservice to the progression of humankind by living to the east of their largest stadium.

As for the practicality of the idea, it’s obviously not feasible for the Federal Government to come in and line the people of East Sydney and give them the old psssssstt-click. But something that drastic needs to happen.

To protect our future.
