SHANE WARNE HAS revealed to the media today that US pornstar Jenna Jameson “followed him back” on Twitter overnight.

While he maintains they’ve never met, it seems the former leg-spinner has had to “go back to school” to “learn from the best” after a tough couple of weeks on the dating circuit.

The cricketing legend is the latest in a long list of men around the world to follow the wholesome adult actress, who’s also said that “she loves all that Mr Warne does”.

What this means for the 45-year-old Victorian is now a matter of intense media scrutiny.

“I don’t know why the media has taken such an interest in this?” said Mr Warne.

“Hasn’t anything happened today? Talk about a slow fucking news day. Fuck me,”

“Whatever. She’s hotter than a tin roof in Dubai so go figure.” he said.

Some media commentators have suggested that Warne has been dogged by a recent form slump, which has seen him spotted leaving various Melbourne nightspots with some less-than-spectacular women.

After going through a recent dating form slump, Warne has sought the help of a pornstar.

Dr Devtal Prateen is a Professor of Anthropology at Melbourne’s RMIT, who says that the behavior Mr Warne is displaying is a completely normal response to what he’s been through – something he calls the “Rebound Effect”.

“After a high-profile monogamous relationship terminates, usually the male in those situations just needs to go out there and ‘smash bulk box’ as some research papers have described it,” he said.

“Others sometimes stay in bed all day and listen to The Smiths,”

“Going out on the town with the fellas is the healthiest option. Throw in some draught beer, a few late-night ‘cappuccinos’ and some deep house music and before too long, we see patients start ‘going home with the hottest chicks’ once again,”

“I’m not too concerned about Mr Warne.”
