A local dad has today experienced a rather concerning blip in his memory after he failed to recognise his daughter’s best friend in an Instagram photo.
In an effort to bond with her father, Lisa Wilkes [17] is showing him a series of adventure shots from the weekend, which includes a picture of herself and her best friend Stephanie linking arms as they grin ear to ear.
It’s alleged that Lisa first met Stephanie when they lived in a cul de sac several years ago, and that the two had been attached to the hip ever since.
So much so, that Lisa’s mother affectionately referred to Stephanie as her ‘second daughter’, and would often cook a bit extra every Friday night as it was often expected that Stephanie would drop in at some point.
Which is why it’s come as quite the shock when dad had no idea who the girl in Lisa’s photo is.
“Who’s that sitting next to you?”
“What?”
“The girl with the short blonde hair?”
Staring at her father incredulously, Lisa queries her father as to whether he’s taking the piss.
“No? Should I know who that is?’
“Haha, seriously who is it?”
