The ABC’s election rainman Antony Green’s arithemacy superpowers have been harnessed this evening by the one person in his life that he trusts.

Rarely seen outside of election coverage, Green has for many years developed a reputation as a mathematical savant.

As the public broadcaster plows through speculation and predictions, Antony Green’s beautiful mind will not be utilised until later in tonight’s coverage.

It’s for this reason that his colleague and confidantè, tonight’s host Leigh Sales has drawn upon her North Brisbane street-smarts and convinced Antony Green to join her for a trip down Ultimo’s Harris Street to Star Casino.

While Barrie Cassidy took control on the panel, Sales ushered Green towards the elevator.

“Let’s go Antony. We are gonna play some cards” said Sales.

It is believed, Sales had initially suggested getting a cab to save time – but Green declined – stating he was not comfortable in being a passenger in a taxi that wasn’t owned by St George Cabs. Citing their record of having no crashes.

After 15 minutes of awkwardly paced power walking, the two public servants arrived at the Caribbean poker tables, from here, Green began to play.

With her mobile notifications buzzing, Sales was holding on as long as she could, as Green continued to drag chips off the table.

With the results coming in thick and fast, and the horrifying news that her mortal enemy Tony Abbott might be getting re-elected. Sales decided to pull the pin not before security guards began circling their table.
