As the nation slowly gets his head around the idea of stockpiling household items that aren’t toilet paper – shopping lists that include non-perishable items are gradually being drawn in homes right across the country.

Since kitchen pantries around Australia have been loaded up with tins and brown paper bags, both adults and kids are becoming familiar with the different treats and flavours that comes with prepping.

The resounding nationwide consensus is that apricot delights are by far the most underrated non-perishable there is.

In fact, the apricot delights probably stand alone when it comes to the entire ‘sweets’ aisle at the supermarket – both perishable and non-perishable.

While the orange little cubes of delicious goodness are yet to be snapped up off the shelves as hysterically as toilet paper, they are also very hard to find amongst the water crackers and shelled pistachios.

Apricot Delights are joined by dried prunes and liquorice as the most underrated treats that can sit in room temperature indefinitely. International Roast instant coffee is also severely underrated.

MORE TO COME.
