While the nation gears up for Halloween tonight, the winner of the best costume has already announced it can be confirmed.

Cooper Cronk just won Halloween!

Despite the fact that huge numbers of children and adults are set to hit the streets in fancy dress-ups, Cooper Cronk has already taken out the Best Dressed award for the nation.

The premiership-winning halfback and new coach at the Roosters is set to take out the award after turning up to Roosters training as an Integrity Unit Official.

In hilarious scenes, the scary outfit sent his former team matters scattering at breakneck speed to get away from the official.

However, with those in the know wetting themselves and keeling over in laughter, Cronk quickly relieved the fleeing players of the fears.

“Boys, boys, boys” he yelled out.

“It’s just me Cooper,” he laughed.

With the players nearly down into the back of Paddington, the group started losing it at the hilarious prank.

“Fuckkkkkkk (sic) that was a pisser,” said one of the players.

It’s yet to be determined how the Roosters players recognised what an Integrity Official looked like.

More to come.
