In some good news for Bird Box fans, the streaming giant Netflix has today announced that there will be a sequel today.

The makers of the smash hit film have announced that they will begin filming a follow up to the thriller staring Sandra Bullock, to be released later this year.

The film follows a woman, played by Sandra Bullock, who, along with a pair of children, dubbed Boy and Girl, must make it through a forest and river blindfolded to avoid supernatural entities causing death.

In a sensational twist, however, the follow-up film will be called Batter Box and will feature the Australian Cricketing team’s Top 6 Batsmen.

The announcement comes after the India series wrapped up today, with no batsmen making a century across the 4 test matches, and the Australian top 6 collapsing faster than Sydney’s Opal Tower.

The Director of the film Bird Box said the entire team is looking forward to depicting the plight of Australia’s batsmen.

“Oh, it’s not going to be just 90 minutes of the top ordering fishing around outside off with blindfolds on, there will be so much more,” the Director said.

“We plan to cover the Cape Town episode where numerous people appeared to have had blindfolds and ear muffs on, and many other episodes.”

“So make sure you keep an eye out for the release, I promise it will make compelling viewing!”
